Independent "Gyaku-R parts". By minimizing the stress on parts at the manufacturing stage, further improvement in the functionality of the "Gyaku-R parts" has been achieved.
独立型の“逆Rパーツ”を採用。製造段階におけるパーツへのストレスを最小限に抑えることで、“逆Rパーツ”そのものの機能性をさらに向上させている。
The stress is absorbed from "Gyaku-R parts" into the independent brow bar which is stabilized by screw. The double front construction allows stable visibility.
“逆Rパーツ”を起点にブロウバーが負荷を吸収するフェイスフロントと、レンズを固定するインナーフロントが、それぞれ独立してブリッジでネジ留めされている。このダブルフロント構造により安定した視界を約束。
Metal Sirmont frames reminiscent of American vintage. The face front, including the brow bar is made from sheet titanium metal and plays a role as a cushion together with the independent “Gyaku-R parts”. An ambitious work, updating a classic design through new methods born from the viewpoint of functionality.
アメリカン･ヴィンテージを連想させるサーモント風のルックスをしたメタルフレーム。ブロウ部分を含むフェイスフロントがチタン製のワンピース構造となっていて、独立型の“逆Rパーツ”とともに緩衝機構としての役割を果たす。機能性という視点から生まれた新たな手法で、クラシックなデザインをアップデートした意欲作だ。

The end piece of the front rim hides the "Gyaku-R parts", 999.9 call this parts the "Built-in Gyaku-R parts". Further flexibility has been achieved by shifting the position of the cushion forward.
フロント両サイドにある智の内側に“逆Rパーツ”を格納した“ビルトイン逆R”を採用。緩衝機構のポジションを前方に移すことで、さらなるフレキシビリティを実現した。
The bridge connecting the left and right rim is fixed at two points at the top and bottom using screws from the front and pins from the rear, strengthening the front which often bears the load.
左右のリムをつなげるブリッジは、前方からはネジを、後方からはピンを用いて、上下２点で固定されている。負荷のかかりやすいフロントの強度アップを実現している。
Also aesthetically beautiful, the "Built-in Gyaku-R" housing further enhances the temple's range of motion and ensures a comfortable fit. The curvature of the lenses is transformed into 3-dimensional data points to mill the perfect inner rim bevel grooves. From the lines of the bridge and end pieces, to the slim and modern temple coverings, this frame is a rich combination of both modern and classic.
見た目にも美しく格納された“ビルトイン逆R”が、テンプルの可動域をさらに高め、快適な掛け心地を約束してくれる。表情豊かなチタン製シートリムは、レンズカーブを3次元でデータ化した上でヤゲン溝を設定。ブリッジと智のライン、テンプルを覆う細身のモダンなど、クラシックな表情も豊かなコンビネーションフレームだ。

The "Gyaku-R hinge", an iconic brand detail, reduces the stress on the front which occurs when the glasses are in use. This prevents frame distortion and loss of shape, thus maintaining a comfortable fit.
この“逆Rヒンジ”がブランドのアイコン的ディテールだ。眼鏡の使用時に生じるフロントへの負荷を軽減。フレームの歪みや型崩れを防止し、快適な掛け心地を実現する。
A frame combining plastic rim with a one-piece molded metal brow. The contrast created by the top of the metal rim protruding 0.5mm is quite beautiful.
このコンビネーションフレームは、一体成型のメタルブロウパーツにプラスチック製のリムを組み合わせたもの。リムの上部0.5㎜にメタルブロウを覗かせたコントラストが美しい。
The fourth global model, created with the overseas market in mind. Although this attractively sized frame has the appearance of a classic combination Boston, great attention has been paid to practicality. Brow strength has been achieved through production of a one-piece metal molding; the "Gyaku-R hinge" provides cushioning, and the temple core is perfectly integrated with the temple limb. The brand's unyielding obsession with functionality is apparent at every turn.
海外市場も視野に入れたグローバルモデルの第4弾。独特のサイズ感が魅力だ。ボストンのコンビネーションフレームというクラシックな風貌だが、一体成型によるメタルブロウパーツの強度、緩衝機構の“逆Rヒンジ”、芯金と一体化させたテンプルのメタルパーツなど、機能性へのこだわりが随所にみられるのはさすがだ。

These three-dimensional metal temples have a real presence and hold their own in combination with a brow designed to bring out eye colour. The synergy between a good hold and the flexibility of the " Gyaku-R parts" makes for a comfortable fit.
立体的なメタルテンプルには存在感があり、目ヂカラを高めるブロウパーツにもひけをとらない。適度なホールド感と“逆Rパーツ”の柔軟性との相乗効果で、より快適な掛け心地となる。
Sirmont plastic brow delivers a bold impression. By adopting independent “Gyaku-R parts” along with the fixing screws also act as decoration to create a sophisticated looking front. The superior comfort hold of the temples has been achieved thanks to the increased flexibility of the “Gyaku-R parts” in the cushion.
プラスチック製のブロウパーツが強い印象を与えるサーモント。独立型の“逆Rパーツ”を採用し、固定しているネジが装飾としての印象も持ち合わせることで、より洗練されたフロントの表情を作っている。ホールド感の高いテンプルが快適なのは、緩衝機構の“逆Rパーツ”によるフレキシビリティの高さも備えていればこそである。
